Taylor Making Improvements to Cemetery

New Fence Along Center Street to be Completed Soon

The Town of Taylor is replacing the fence at the municipal cemetery along Center Street.  In their February meeting, the town council approved an extra $50,000 to the Parks Department budget to complete the project.  The new exterior fence of the cemetery will replace the chain link fence previously used. The agenda item passed unanimously.

The town wasted little time to start the project.  The town hired Hatch Industries to place pre-cast concrete columns and 2 feet tall panels along the bottom of the fence line.  The town is now seeking bids to place wrought iron between the columns to finish the fence.
