April 7, 2021
- Vehicle driven by Byron Hunt, 39, of Heber was pulled over for expired registration. Officer then learned that Hunt’s license was suspended for previous arrest for DUI. Hunt was cited and released and then he walked to his girlfriend’s house.
- Report of a hit and run. A vehicle driven by an underage female was hit by a brown Toyota Sienna which then left the scene of the collision. The Sienna was not located.
- Call from a probation officer asking to cite probationer with theft. The individual on probation, Vincent Romero, had previously worn an ankle electronic monitor but failed to return the monitor.
- Report of reckless driver on Main St. The reporting party stated that an argument was happening between the driver and the passenger. The driver was driving erratically, slamming on the brakes, swerving and over correcting. The vehicle was found and a verbal warning was given.
- Report from Circle K of the clerk refusing to sell alcohol to customer. Customer was not happy with that decision. Customer kept shoving ID in the clerk’s face.
- Report of a single vehicle accident on state route 77. A truck driven by Jacob Ballard, 19, of Snowflake began to lose control of the attached trailer carrying a tractor. The truck eventually left the pavement and the trailer tipped on its side when it hit the dirt. No injuries were sustained. The owner removed the vehicle.
- Accident at 4th South and 2nd West. A bicycle ridden by a 9-year-old female collided with a Toyota Camry driven by a 16-year-old female. The investigation determined that the bike rider entered the intersection without observing the stop sign. The bike rider was transported to the hospital. No citations were issued.
April 8, 2021
- Traffic stop conducted for vehicle travelling 46 MPH in a 35 MPH zone on Main St. The driver was identified as Anaya Howe, 19, of Show Low. Howe had a warrant out for her arrest. Howe had a 4-month-old infant with her which she began to nurse during the stop. The officer escorted Howe to the justice court where the Judge quashed the warrant and gave her a new court date.
- Report of single vehicle accident on State Route 77. Cody Ozment fell asleep while driving and crashed.
- Report from Sonic of juvenile who passed out while operating a vehicle in the Sonic drive thru lane. The 16-year-old female was found to be in possession of marijuana. A juvenile referral was submitted.
April 9, 2021
- Report from individual of a little boy in her yard only wearing a shirt. The reporting party did not know how long the boy had been there.
- Report from Wal-Mart of Shoplifting. Maureen Vultaggio, 45, of Overgaard, was found to have shoplifted a tube of lipstick. Vultaggio was cited, released and trespassed from Wal-Mart.
- Report of person upset and yelling. The subject was upset when she arrived home and her adult children had not been cleaning and the house was a mess. Subject told her children that if they don’t do their part that they can move out.
- Report of disorderly subject at the Cedar Motel. Upon arrival, Robert Allen, of Phoenix, attempted to jump into the cop car’s window. He was ordered to sit on the ground. Allen said he was being chased by a 10-foot-tall woman who was swinging on a pole. EMS was called and cleared the subject. Allen admitted to using methamphetamine in jail previously after being arrested the day before.
April 10, 2021
- Report of single vehicle accident on Concho Highway, 2 miles from Main St. The driver was cited for failure to control a vehicle to avoid a collision. The driver indicated that an animal ran out in front of him and he swerved to miss it leaving the roadway then overcorrecting and leaving the roadway on the other side before colliding with some large sandstone rocks adjacent to the highway.
- Report of ex-mother-in-law on scene at Cedar Motel causing a disturbance and taking pictures of reporting party and another female.
- Report of reckless driver on Pinedale Road. Reporting party advised dispatch that area is known for underage parties.
April 11, 2021
- Report of shoplifting at Circle K in Snowflake. Robin Kaye, 33, of Snowflake opened up a beer and began drinking it at the store without paying. Kaye was arrested for shoplifting and 2 misdemeanor warrants.
April 12, 2021
- Call for a civil standby. Reporting party advised law enforcement that her boyfriend has been throwing things at her and calling her names. She was able to lock him out. Boyfriend had left the scene upon arrival by law enforcement.
- Report that individual had received several calls from someone claiming to be “Snowflake Police Officer” who tells her she has to pay $9,000. The males keeps calling from the same number. The phone number was taken to investigate further.
