- On 3rd St. N. a report was made of kids throwing eggs and sticking frozen cheese on vehicles for the past two months.
- A report was made that at Park Meadows Apartments on Highland Blvd. kids were standing on and jumping off a dumpster.
February 11, 2021
- A citation was issued to male driver at Center and Main St. in Taylor for speeding and cutting through a parking lot to get onto Main St. The driver told the officer that he was in a hurry because he had to go to the restroom.
- A black Ford sedan was pulled over for no current registration; the officer observed signs of impairment; the driver provided a blood sample and was released to his grandparent’s residence.
- A report was made from N. View Rd that the homeowner had ding-dong ditchers at his home. The suspects knocked and ran and got into running white pickup truck; the reporting party stated that the neighbors are having the same issue.
February 12, 2021
- Response to a single vehicle rollover accident on Pinedale Rd near Taylor Farms Road. Investigation attributed the cause of accident to driver error, speed, and inexperience. The underage driver was transported to Summit Hospital for observation and was cited for failure to control vehicle.
February 14, 2021
- Response to Hatch Construction and Paving Yard on Papermill Rd. where a suspect vehicle was on the property. The officer activated vehicle lights upon arrival and the suspect vehicle fled to the rear of the property where the suspect’s vehicle got stuck. Contact was made by officer to suspect. The suspect was in possession of .22 caliber rifle, methamphetamine, heroin, and drug paraphernalia.
- Report of a suspect brandishing a firearm at another male when that person would not let him take his sister out on a date. Suspect is a convicted felon and out on parole. The suspect, 21, of Springerville, was pulled over in his vehicle after the report was made. He was arrested for misconduct involving weapons, disorderly conduct with a firearm, DUI and open container in a vehicle. The two passengers from the traffic stop were also arrested. Male suspect, 18, of Springerville was arrested for underage consumption of alcohol and open container. The other passenger, 28, of Mexico was also arrested for open container in a vehicle.
