Spring Youth Flag Football Registration Due Today!

The Snowflake-Taylor Recreation and Parks Department just finished up a successful Basketball season and now are on to the Spring leagues. For Spring, there will be leagues for the following sports: youth flag football, coed and women’s volleyball, and youth volleyball. Youth flag football is a new option this year.

Registration for the new youth flag football closes today at noon. The cost is $30 per player. The games start March 27th. Leagues are open for kids aged 8 to 16. Go to https://www.tayloraz.org/departments/recreation-and-parks/ to register.

The Recreation Department had another successful basketball season. Basketball participation numbers were nearly identical to the previous year. 360 kids participated, making 39 teams. In addition to the youth basketball leagues, the men’s basketball league had 13 teams sign up which is 5 more than last year.

The winning team for the 7th to 9th grade boys league was coached by Joe Bjornn.
