Senator Wendy Rogers to be Investigated

Ethics Committee Votes 5-0

The Arizona Senate Ethics Committee voted unanimously, 5-0, to investigate further the allegations made against Senator Wendy Rogers. The committee met on February 4 and addressed the complaint made against Senator Rogers by staff member, Michael Polloni.  Mr. Polloni alleges Senator Rogers made negative comments against him including his appearance, as well as his leave from work based on a COVID-19 quarantine; which didn’t allow him to come to work for several days. Senator Rogers has denied the allegations.

Senator Rogers defeated Senator Sylvia Allen in the August 2020 GOP primary contest. She won the general election in November and was sworn in on January 11. Senator Rogers represents Legislative District 6 which includes Taylor and Snowflake.
