Lobos Remain Undefeated
In a very tough week, the Lobos were able to maintain their perfect record.
On Tuesday, February 9, Snowflake defeated Winslow 79-70. Winslow came in with a perfect record, ranked 7th. The game was close all game with the lead switching back and forth. Michael Brimhall was big for the Lobos, scoring 25 points to help with the victory. Stewart West and Conner Hall both added 14 points.
Then, on Thursday, February 11, Snowflake won their contest with Show Low, 74-51. Steward West had 28 points including two monstrous dunks in the win.
On Saturday, Snowflake travelled to Page for a matinee contest. The number 10 ranked Sand Devils kept the game close throughout. Kaiden Brewer scored 19 second half points and helped Snowflake squeak out a closely fought game, 76-69.
The updated rankings were released today and Snowflake is still ranked #2 but has inched up closer to #1 ranked, Valley Christian, now only trailing by .0722. The rankings are utilized when seeding teams for the state championship bracket.
