Lobos Hold Off Show Low and Holbrook in Tight Contests

The Lobos held off Show Low at Show Low High School on January 27th. Noah Baum made 5 three-point shots helping secure the win. The game was close, per usual, when these rivals square off ending in a 56-47 Lobo victory. It was the Lobos closest game to date and their first road game of the season.

The Lobos ended the week at home against Holbrook on January 28th. Steward West led all Lobos with 18 points. The Lobos maintained a lead for almost the entire game, leading by as much as 17 points in the first half. Holbrook didn’t go away quietly, however, making a push and taking a one-point lead in the 4th quarter. A 3-point play by Ryson Stuart, tight defense, and clutch rebounding allowed the Lobos to pull away late and win 56-50.
