Lobo Football Players Recognized
3A All-Conference Awards handed out and Snowflake is well represented
The Arizona Interscholastic Association has awarded several Lobo football players all-conference recognitions for 3A.
Conference Player of the Year:
Senior Terren Green
Making All-Conference First Team include the following:
Senior Rev Brimhall - Linebacker
Senior Payson Cardon - Defensive Lineman
Senior Mayson McKinlay - Kickoff Returner
Senior David Ruiz - Offensive Lineman
Senior Carter Solomon - Offensive Lineman
Senior Ryson Stuart - Defensive Back
Junior Sam Crokett - Placekicker
All-Conference Second Team:
Junior Noah Baum - Receiver
Honorable Mention:
Senior Nick McVicker - Receiver
Junior Caden Cantrell - Quarterback
Coach Solomon provided the following statement in regards to the players that were recognized: “We are thrilled that the 3A coaches have chosen to recognize a number of our 2020 Football Lobos as 3A All Conference players. These boys proved that dedication, focus, and hard work make success possible. We are proud of our 3A Player of the Year and our 1st and 2nd team and Honorable Mention Honorees. They will be the first to tell anyone that the entire team played an important role in winning the championship. The efforts of our scout team players helped us implement and practice game plans that propelled us past the best competition the 3A had to offer.”
In addition to the Snowflake players being recognized, Head Coach Kay Solomon was awarded the 3A Conference Coach of the Year. Coach Solomon led the Lobos to their first state championship in 27 years.
