Cleanup:
Demolition and cleanup is underway. The school had to wait for lead and asbestos testing. Restore Pro has been hired to complete it. Also, a structural engineer completed an inspection and now the school is waiting on the written report. The school, however, does not anticipate structural integrity issues. The school is hopeful that the stands will be able to be used for the next home football game which is October 15th against Winslow.
Investigation:
The origin of the fire was from one of the two ticket booths underneath the stands. Those two booths were mobile in nature and did not have an electrical or natural gas supply plumbed which makes the origin even more suspicious because a heat source had to be introduced to the booths. The fire is considered suspicious and is under investigation. If you have any information regarding the fire, please contact Taylor-Snowflake Fire.
