Fire at Snowflake High School Football Stadium

While Snowflake slept, a fire broke out at the Snowflake High School football stadium. The fire started around 2:30am according to Chief Nelson. Taylor-Snowflake Fire responded as well as Timber Mesa Fire due to the height of the fire and the lack of a ladder truck by Taylor-Snowflake Fire.

The fire appears to have originated in an old ticket booth that was being stored underneath the bleachers. That booth quickly was engulfed and the fire rose up to the announcer stand above the bleachers becoming an elevated fire.

The cause is unknown and under investigation at this time.
