Community Swimming Pool Update

Changes in Architecture Plans and the Contractor has Delayed the Completion

The Snowflake swimming pool continues to move forward with the multi-million-dollar renovation although not as quick as originally anticipated. The pool will feature a slide, a diving board, two basketball hoops and a volleyball net once completed. The locker rooms and lobby area are being renovated too. In addition, the renovation is expanding the current footprint to add a lifeguard room and manager’s office with glass walls.

The project was initially estimated to be completed last month. Earlier this year, the project’s timeline was pushed out to August as a completion date. Now, the anticipated completion is still further away due to a change in contractors. The new roof has been installed but many other interior and exterior features have not had any recent progress.
